We have worked with tech company Meta on many projects, often together with our partners Craig Walker. We have worked with the Meta Policy team amongst other departments to create engaging ways to explain and publicise the findings from their research project and co-design workshops.

Ezybin is a skip bin collection and delivery business: the easiest way to order a skip bin from a local supplier anywhere in Australia. Local skip bin hire businesses partner with Ezybin to get more jobs in their area. They also have a mobile app developed to enable customers to order a skip bin easily from their smartphone.

We crafted a characterful and custom modular website for master builders and timber-yard, Carpenter Oak.

We designed and built a new website for Carpenter Oak, migrating from a bloated Wordpress to a fresh and lightning-fast Next.js and Prismic headless build, complete with an Algolia-powered search.

Modular Websites

Combining modern CMS tools with our expertise across web animation, 3D and interactivity, we deliver beautifully designed, bespoke Next.js and Prismic CMS sites for organisations of all sizes.

We created a digital platform for the Sydney Review of Books with a key goal: to maintain their position at the forefront of digital publishing.

In collaboration with Public Websites, we built SRB a new home, featuring a full site redesign and an updated FVS-powered visual system. We changed tech stack to migrate to a headless CMS, using Algolia to turn their extensive digital archive into a quickly and easily searchable index.

For Coolcore we made an ultra light, ultra slick, and multilingual website to showcase their repertoire of advanced cooling fabrics, fibers, and clothing.

Working with our brand partners, Figure, we helped Coolcore pull off a comprehensive digital makeover with a modern, sophisticated, and user-centric website that reflected the quality of their brand.

3D in the Browser

We love working in 3D. Modern tooling allows us to create three-dimensional experiences in the browser which were unthinkable even a few years ago.

We built a timeline that tracks the performance of all teams in the NRL in three dimensions.

For Polygon we made an accurate and functioning 3D visualizer of their blockchain interoperability protocol, Agglayer.

Following a research phase into the technology & data structure behind Agglayer, we created concept designs and then built an interactive 3D visualisation of transactions pinging through Agglayer.

We designed & built a 3D data visualisation based on historical weather data to be displayed in the City of Parramatta's new library development.

Supermarket collaborated with Craig Walker to create a 3D visual based on weather data from the City of Parramatta for the council's new library development. The project involved delving into historical data related to variations in the area's weather patterns, looking for meaningful insights to serve as the foundation for the 3D visual.

We built informative VR experiences to help workshop participants understand how body-based data is collected and used in the Metaverse.

The Metaverse provides designers and policy makers with many challenges, such as how to responsibly request for consent to collect and then respond to body-based data. With Craig Walker, Supermarket was enlisted by Meta to deliver assets for a co-design workshop for external privacy and technology experts.

Animated Explainers

We present complex narratives in scrolling animated explainers on the web using our extensive experience with web animation and browser based 3D.

For Meta, we explained complex technologies in a simple and engaging way using GSAP animations.

We built a scroll controlled animation using GSAP to explain research into AI transparency in digital technology.

Designing people-centric approaches to AI explainability by driving greater understanding and agency can help build more trustworthy digital products and services. TTC Labs asked Craig Walker & Supermarket to build a visual explainer as an introduction to the topic and their research.

We used new 3D technology to explain a complex crytographic proposal by Meta

A team of cryptographers at Meta are developing a proposal for measuring ads where everyone’s browsing history remains private. They call it ‘Interoperable Private Attribution’ (IPA). Supermarket worked with this team to develop a scrolling 3D animated explainer.

We created a scrolling interactive data visualisation for Highland to help new customers understand the fleet electrification process.

As part of the launch of the new Highland brand we created a scrolling interactive data visualisation to help new customers understand the savings they could make by using Highland to electrify their school bus fleet.

Generative Design Systems

We deliver flexible generative design systems and interactive tools to go with them. These compliment our modular websites to create consistency in brand and save time and money for our clients.

We turned concepts from the book ‘Flexible Design Systems’ into an interactive design tool.

For the Sydney Review of Books we built a flexible branding tool to create thousands of unique, pattern-based images to accompany their library of essays, reviews, articles, and interviews.

We created a brand system tool which would automatically output a pattern-based image for every piece of content in their archive, suffusing their site with a fluid, highly recognisable, and unique identity.
